And we bring June to a close with the annual Daytime Emmy Awards where Mr. Hapka looked very handsome on the red carpet. This year they took it to Vegas and it really sucks that no one from Days took home Emmy but maybe we’ll get ‘em next year. Here’s hoping!

In late June Mark had two events and one of them was – 2010 Daytime Emmy Awards Nominees Cocktail Reception – he looked amazing and he arrived with a beautiful date. Mark also took photos with his stunning Days co-stars – Shelley Hennig (Stephanie), Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe), and Judi Evans (Adrienne).

DAYS OF OUR LIVES stars gathered at the Grand Hyatt in Dallas, TX a few weeks ago to meet and greet with fans. The event, which was held by Days Charity Events, benefitted the Alzheimer’s Association. There was a Q&A session in the morning, an afternoon autograph signing and a cocktail reception in the evening. Actors in attendance included Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe), Crystal Chappell (Carly), Jay Kenneth Johnson (Philip), Eric Martsolf (Brady), James Scott (EJ), Shawn Christian (Daniel) and Mark Hapka (Nathan). YAY Beyond The Mat is coming out soon! I really want to see Mark in that and The Danny McKay Project! So excited.

We’re halfway through! All we have now is little more than a few dates in April to finish! Then we will be right back to being on track with our screencaps! The 37th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards will be broadcast Sunday, June 27 (9:00-11:00 Live, PM, ET/delayed PT) from the Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas on the CBS Television Network. This is the first time the awards ceremony will take place in Las Vegas.
“The Daytime Emmy Awards are one of the cornerstones of our business and we are thrilled to be back on CBS,” said Herb Granath, Chairman, National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). “Last year’s show was one of the most entertaining events in our history, and this year’s Las Vegas-based broadcast promises to be even more exciting.”
Associated Television International (ATI) will produce the show with ATI President and Emmy Award winner David McKenzie serving as executive producer. “After last year’s Daytime Emmy Awards, we are delighted to be working with NATAS again,” said McKenzie. “Being on the top-rated network gives us the opportunity to reach a wide audience and moving the show to Las Vegas allows us a dazzling range of production choices.”
