He first hit up the gifting suites for the 2010 Golden Globe Awards (more to come with his cute friend and darling actress Bailee Madison) that has some cool swag. Finally, Mark, his lovely girlfriend, Days co-stars Molly (Melanie) & Casey (Chad) attended the Britticares International Foundation’s Golden Globe Awards Post Celebration event. A Closer Look: Nathan

Thanks to the amazing Colleen, we have a scan in the gallery of Mark in Soap Opera Weekly’s A Closer Look in the Days section giving you a in-depth look at Nathan through his portrayer Mark Hapka. I thought his answers were so great and by far the best I have ever read. You have to see what he says about his two leading ladies, Molly (Melanie) & Shelley (Stephanie). Isn’t he amazing?

Mark on SOAPnet

Mark was featured on SOAPnet and a very kind person uploaded it to YouTube. I haven’t been watching SN lately and its about time they did something with the people from Days. Here we have Mark discussing what it’s like to be one of “Melanie’s Men.” So take a minute and watch.

Melanie (Molly Burnett) and Phillips (Jay Johnson) wedding is right around the corner, but with Nathan in the picture (Mark Hapka) will the wedding go off without a hitch? Tune in to Days of Our Lives on SOAPnet.com twice daily at 6pm and again at 11pm!

Mark on “Keeler In The Morning Show”

According to Mark’s latest tweet last night he will be on the “Keeler In The Morning Show” to discuss his new film, Midgets vs. Mascots! So make sure you tune in. If you can’t, like me, hopefully they’ll pull the audio and upload it to their site so we can hear it that way.

Live on the “Keeler in the Morning Show” 2morrow (9am est & 6am pst) talking about my movie “MidgetsVs.Mascots” etc. http://927thedrive.net/

Sorry, I should have added this last night but I was so tired and just wanted to crash. So at 6 a. EST I got up to post this.

New(ish) Interview From DOD!

I love this interview and sadly I just noticed it; but that’s a good thing! Mark & Shelley sat down at the Day Of Days Event this past November and one of the media outlets happened to be the ever fabulous Michael Fairman (Note: Please make sure you click his name to visit his awesome site!) and I loved this small interview he did with them.

So check them out when you have the time! Again, so sorry but yes they are way out of order in terms of uploading.

New Temp Theme Uploaded!

Wooo we have a brand new and wonderful temp. theme for Mark Hapka Fan. The other got on my nerves too much and was just a bear to get the hang of so I saw this new theme and just had to use it for us.

It just works so much better with what we upload and how we make posts granted now the tweet and video I posted are a little stretched but that’s ok. So I hope you enjoy this too before we get our new layout.

Mark’s “I WANT MY WEINER” CAMPAIGN!

Mark is on a mission to help those who’ve helped him. I found this awesome write-up that explains what he is trying to do. So if you have the time please take a minute and sign the campaign.

“I WANT WEINER”: #1 New York Times Bestselling AUTHOR
JENNIFER WEINER LAUNCHES REVOLUTIONARY ONLINE CAMPAIGN
TO PETITION ABC TO PICK UP HER TV PILOT “JANE AND DICK”

ABC is in the process of picking up shows for next fall, and best-selling author Jennifer Weiner’s TV pilot “Jane and Dick” may find a home on the network thanks to a revolutionary online campaign that is illuminating the intersection of television and the internet.

Weiner, one of the most popular authors in the blogosphere, is leveraging her blog, Facebook fan page, Twitter account, and all aspects of viral media to encourage her large and devout fan base to petition ABC to pick up “Jane and Dick.”

On Friday Jen wrote about the pilot on her blog “A Moment of Jen”, urging fans to email the network and tell executives I WANT WEINER on TV. Since Weiner’s post, fans have stormed her blog and Facebook page, pledging their support to get “Jane and Dick” on ABC TV. Several petitions are also circulating the internet. Thousands of people have signed the petition entitled I WANT WEINER, and the numbers are growing by the minute. Other authors have taken up the rallying cry on Twitter and Facebook, and celebrities are now joining the movement. Days of Our Lives soap opera star Mark Hapka is twittering and posting on his face book page to support I WANT MY WEINER.

While viewers have petitioned to save shows before, this is the first time fans have petitioned to get a pilot shot– and their voices are being heard by ABC.

“Jane and Dick” is about a funny, smart, sensitive, slightly insecure lady lawyer, the all-female law firm she’s created, and what happens when her teenage crush and her big sister’s ex-boyfriend comes to work in her feminist Utopia. It takes elements of all Jen’s favorite shows (Ally McBeal, Moonlighting, L.A. Law, Sex and the City) and gives them all of the wit and heart, and the kind of well-rounded, realistic heroine that readers have come to expect from her fiction.

Weiner is the author of six novels, including Good in Bed, In Her Shoes, and last summer’s Best Friends Forever, a number-one New York Times bestseller.

Jen Weiner fans can post I WANT WEINER on ABC.com – http://abc.go.com/site/contact-us.
